Hello Second graders! I am so excited to get to know each of you this year! We will be working together as a team and learning a lot about one another this year. I want you to know about me also. I love teaching! I have been teaching for 18 fun packed years! I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 6th grades and title one reading.

My passion is to teach kids a love of reading. 

I have a wonderful family that I love to spend time with. My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 19th anniversary! I have a 16 year old daughter named Olivia and a 12 year old son named Owen. I love watching my kids participate in sports. We also have a very hyper Basset Hound named Raleigh and a Labrador named Boone. They are always making a mess and enjoy car rides and playing fetch. I love Chip and Jo, home decor, Waco, coffee, sprite and Japanese food. I also enjoy walking outside and enjoying nature.
